Paul Cole is completely arrogant and the agency is a shambles. It is run by a variety of incompetent and rude people who: -don't show up to appointments and don't call to let you know -are "on their lunch" whenever you call (9am, 4pm whenever) -don't return calls when you leave messages etc The flat was cold and damp and the landlord was a nightmare. When we moved out we were charged an incredible "moving out fee" and charged for damaged in the itemised inventory which had already been itemised in our moving in inventory. Trying to deal with Paul Cole is like banging your head against a brick wall.
A complete attitude change is what would be required from Paul Cole to change my view of Personal Homefinders.

25 May 2012Completely and utterly agree! We have been charged an extraordinary "Move out Fee" and they have re-worded everything on the inventory to make it seem worse than when we moved in. When we lived in their property, they had had a bodge job done on the kitchen sink which caused a massive leak into the cupboard beneath and made the lino mouldy and failed to fix the kitchen window for four months even tho we asked what was going on. Also, what estate agent makes the tenants get the carpets professionally dry cleaned before moving out? It was in the contract! Made me read my next agreement very carefully!!! If anyone gets the message - don't choose Personal Homefinders as your estate agents!!!!!!!!!!

25 Oct 2012Snappy outfit. My daughter and three others rented via Winchester office while at uni. Rented the property for two year. Complied with contract including cleaning of carpets and a working parking including parents cleaned the property. The carpet cleaner said e house had never even as clean. Yet they withheld money for cleaning, rubbish removal and replacing a smoke alarm which never worked. This despite not responding to constant reports of water ingress, non response to an electrical fault subsequently confirmed as caused by water ingress into a socket. Directly linked to each other. Looking for a fair and reasonable letting agent.......look elsewhere!

These agents are awful! There are so many things I could say about these people. They took MONTHS to fix anything, and only after many phone calls to ask again and again for things to be fixed. We had to live with thick black mould on bedroom walls and ceiling for months as I was told not to wash... Read Full Review
Respond when contacted. Delivered on their promises to fix things. Tell you they will take £250 for checking out, before you sign the contract. Apologise for their inadequacies. Apologise for our discomfort caused by their lack of interest.
