Rented a furnished property in Cardiff through Peter Alan. From the start of the tenancy agreement there were problems with paperwork not done properly. The house was filthy and had to be cleaned and painted from top to bottom before we could move in. Peter Alan said that that was our own fault because we had signed the tenancy agreement. Constant problems with appliances and blocked drains throughout tenancy. We were without a refidgerator for 1 month because the landlord lived in China and would not agree to repair prices and replacements. This was constantly happening and Peter Alan took no responsibility but passed all blame to the landlord although they refused to give us his name and contact details. They were our agents and we were dealing with them therefore they should have done their job. They also entered the house whenever they felt like it without giving 24 hours notice which is required. They entered once while we were on holiday. At the end of the tenancy we had trouble getting our �700 bond returned because the

Albany Rd branch rented us a property that was later seized by Environmental Health for being a fire hazard. We moved into another property, furnished, with no beds. The maintenance team and I believe the whole management are incompetent and careless. Try to avoid this estate agent as they are a nightmare. Very poor communication. Few viewings and even fewer that did not appear to be anything other than a response to my telephone calls. Slow and needed badgering to drop price as agreed.
