If you are thinking of buying a house don't use these cowboys. First of all i would like to point out that I did buy the property I wanted so the review is not based on anything other than the customer service(or lack of received by this Branch). Firstly it's worth mentioning that bridgefords part of the countrywide group are the most expensive agents out there and they don't deny this. They will sell your house like any estate agents, that's what you employ them to do after all but they are ruthless and have no integrity at this branch and here is why. So if you are thinking of buying a house through bridgefords beware. An accepted offer doesn't mean anything. They will still advertise your house despite insisting they haven't, and although it didn't happen to me I'm sure if somebody really wanted to they could still bid on house and that has had an offer accepted on it. I know it is there job to sell houses but it's the manor they do this in. You receive constant phone calls from them, and then the same phone call from another member of staff an hour later. It's almost as if they don't communicate to each other in Branch. They call and sometimes they don't know what they are calling about because they haven't checked their notes before picking up the phone. Their attitude is terrible, when they call you to find out where you are at with the buying process and I my case it was with the sellers solicitors they said if there are problems then you need to let them know as they will just sell it someone else. They sell houses all the time so surely they must understand the process and know that when the buyer's solicitor is waiting for information from the sellers it is just that. I honestly will never use this Branch again i know my work colleague has experienced similar problems with this branch and therefore i would recommend you avoid at all costs and go with a firm that's a little more customer service skills and integrity about them.

I wish I could put a negative star. Used them for renting a property out and found them to be incompetent and very slow in replies (weeks). Do not take responsibility for their actions/mistakes, are full of excuses and quick to try and blame the client for their misleading information and... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
