Home Sale Online

I have had a great experience with Home Sale Online, which I wasn't expecting considering my experiences to date with agents, buying or selling. They were far cheaper than all of the other quotes I got so I wasn't expecting them to be as involved as they actually were. I was selling due to some fairly difficult personal circumstances, but every person I met/spoke with was really nice to deal with which made the process a little easier for me. The photos they took were pretty good, they weren't the high end, wide angle ones you see with some agents but they were good quality and the big thing for me was there were two photos of most of the rooms and none of the rooms were missed out. I had an argument with my previous agent because they didn't take photos of the bedroom, it was a one bedroom flat for goodness sake. I got to provide a lot of detail for the ad, which was great as I had spent a lot of time renovating it and upgrading it. They made sure it read well and added further details that i didn't think to include. I got some friends to pose as people interested in my property, expecting that they might not get dealt with quickly (or at all - that's definitely happened to me in the past), but the staff were thourough, finding out the background of the 'interested' person, if they had a property to sell, or they were a first time buyer, so my friends had to think on their feet! When I got some genuine interest they set the viewings up for me, you get an online account and when someone wants to view you get an email and text with some dates they are available and you can agree to one of the time s they give you. It was a bit fiddly at first but after the third viewing request I was used to it. After a second viewing someone put an offer in and HSO ran through the details with me and ran between my solicitor and the buyers solicitors to keep things moving. I arranged my own Home Report before I signed up with Home Sale Onlien because I had heard if you don't have one with mortgage section the buyer won't be able to get a mortgage. It cost me over £400 and i did not know that the mortgage section only last for twelve weeks so I did have to update that for another £120. I was pretty angry to find out that after all of that the mortgage people wanted their own surevyors to do a mortgage survey anyway. Next time I won't be doing that! Anyway, I got the property sold, it was still stressful as I didn't realise how I attached I was to the property until it came to signing everything, but I was really grateful to HSo for their help and advise. I have learnt a lot using them and while I don't see myself moving again for a good while, I would use them next time.
