Just been released from my contract , could not have come sooner , i can now appoint an agent who intends to try and sell my property. Property has now been on the market for over 3 months , unfortunatley it took the staff at the south shields branch over 2 months to inform me that i was asking too much , albeit , the price was based on their valuation ,, this gem of information i recieved via a phone call from myself to the office , something i had to do every once in a while as communication and updates are non existant. I have took it upon myself to lower the asking price by £10,000 over the last few weeks , but for some reason ,( probably lack of interest) this has not been mentioned in the ad or promoted in any way. Which leads me to the advertisment itself , very ,very poor is the only way i can describe it , compared to ads written by other agents , it lacks even the most basic of info (no upper chain ) for example. It seems as though an advert is quickly put together , then slapped on a couple of websites and hopefully ( as far as pattinsons are concerned ) it will sell itself , saving them the job of having to actually do anything. I now plan on bringing in an agent with some drive and enthuseasim or at least someone who gives the impression they know what they are doing , as for Pattinsons , I strongly recommend you think twice before walking into the South Shields branch , unless of course,l you dont really want it to sell.
