The worst service ever received !! Some me and my partner moved into a new home on New Year's Eve 2016 we have had nothing but trouble, the estate agent while viewing the home must of forgotten that the back and front doors were unsafe as they never mentioned any problems with them and in the inventory it states both doors are in "good" condition yet the front door wouldn't close without a slamming action and the back Door would not even stay closed unless it was locked as all the guts had been ripped out of it. We reported these issues to - the repair line and a guy called Rory a lady named Pamela bourne (who accused me of abusing her) we also informed Catherine at peter Alan Merthyr Tydfil and also informed them that the windows were very drafty, there was no attic insulation and during winter we were living in -0 temperatures, we waited 3 weeks for the landlady to sign for attic insulation even tho the evaluation was "FREE", the bathroom floor is completely unsafe all over and was reported at the start of January yet still not complete, and the fact that we felt this property was Mis-represented to us which is being completely ignored by peter Alan staff, we also informed peter Alan that the landlady in question is in breech of our rights and that we feel we are being harassed and bullied by both the landlady and peter Alan only for that to still be ignored and the law says if your landlord is ignoring repairs then that amounts to "harassment" tho the staff at Merthyr office and the landlady don't seem to realise what the law says and they constantly undermine what's written in legislation !!
My advice is simple -- stay away from these clowns as all at Merthyr branch are 2 faced lying bullies who discriminate against its tenants so they can get their money from the landlords, I have observed with my own eyes the damage this branch has done and it should be liquidated for the barbaric ways used against tenants to protect the landlords.... and I have named people in this review because the boxes above say that peter or Catherine don't exists at this branch eveb tho they do !!

The worst estate agent I have ever used to sell a house.

The worst estate agent I have ever used to sell a house. It was a catalogue of cock ups from start to finish. Merthyr branch placed it with PA Black in Cowbridge as it was classed as a premium property. Neither branch knew what each other were doing. We had one viewing in three months. No contact whatsoever throughout. No feedback from the one viewing. When we asked for price changes or things adding or changing, they never happened. No reply to any messages sent. I even went to view a property in Caerphilly a few weeks ago, that unfortunately was marketed by Peter Alan. I made an offer on it, and they didn't even ring me back with a reply to my offer. No problem as I used my crystal ball to find out what the outcome was. I would have increased my offer but wasn't given the chance. I have had my house back on the market since the end of September with a company called Makeurmove. I have had around 8 viewings to date, two offers very near to the amount we would accept, one couple looking into their finances and almost ready to offer just under the asking price.The online company are £1000 plus vat. Peter Alan were nearly £7000 plus vat as joint agents with an almost as equally bad outfit called Bidmead Cook. Go online agent every time, they care about you and will save you thousands. The icing on the cake was when a recent viewer told us they tried to view through Peter Alan, but was told they could not accommodate viewings after 5pm, these were the only time she could view as she worked until 5pm.
