<p>Dear People I am a very vulnerable person and the way Naylor Powell have treated me should be illegal but its not, once again its a letting agent that thrives at the lack of regulation in this industry, they can treat vulnerable people as appallingly as you can imagine and they can get away with it. They have no moral compass and they don't give a foof about tenants regardless of their capability. Just when you think your last letting agent was the worst in the world, there comes along another champion called Naylor Powell. If you're a tenant runs for the hills, they lie and lie and lie and lie, catch my drift. They love evictions as it means more fees for them. Everything is done in the landlords favour not the tenants. I am now evicted and homeless and thank god I now have nothing to do with this bunch of Arfur Daleys, im sure Naylor Powell will be revelling in the profits. Recently I send Marc a load of pictures regarding the current condition of the garden, he told me in writing that I don't need to touch the garden and im not expected to make improvements on the garden. I did what he suggested, after all he is the property manager and the Final Inspector too. Now what a pile of lies, the landlord is asking for £150 towards her tidying the garden. I did what Marc told me now the landlord is trying to rip me off and Marx is letting it happen. I had previously been evicted by my last landlord, when I viewed THE house that I rented Chealsea told me that would not happen this time and the landlord would not sell and evict me. What a pile of rubbish and lies, 4 months later I get an eviction notice, lies lies lies. I was used to fill a gap from the landlords attempt to sell it 'to' wanting to put it back on the market. They did not tell me this at the viewing that the landlord has previously tried to sell the house before renting it to me. I have severe mental health problems and they put me through this legal stuff yet again. I was evicted again and im now homeless. I have no job, I have no money, I am homeless and I have severe mental health problems. Marc is a lying disgrace as property manager, he could not spell his name let along spell professionalism, maybe he could spell lies as he is an expert at it. TDS insists when you open a dispute that you have tried to negotiate with the landlord and letting agent, they are all refusing, they are forcing me to dispute and lie to TDS that I have tried to negotiate. Naylor Powell are taking the interest money from my deposit but they are not following the guidelines' or handing the final inspection independently or professionally. When I left the property on 08-08 Marc told me to my face at the doorstep, 'I will recommend to the landlord that your full deposit be returned to you asap and I don't see why it won't. This is more lies. They are withholding money off me for the rear garden which was an abysmal mess before I moved in but the landlord want £150 because it's a tad more overgrown than it was before. Marc is certainly not in my corner like he was when he was talking to my face. They are trying to claim money for things that are not even in the final report, plus these are things that the landlord is responsible for not me. I would love to say what these people really are, and Mr Birt the owner is just as bad. I won't say what I really think as it won't get published. I have [proof of everything but they still insist in putting a vulnerable person through all this, I just want my full deposit back but it looks like I have to fight this in the TDS dispute scheme. The landlords is being spiteful and withholding my money and Marc Fox is ignoring the TDS guidelines and telling me the landlord is refusing to negotiate. So why has he changed his tune after talking to me at the property? Back stabbing bar stewards. Another thing worth mentioning, when I received the eviction notice, they added the court fees to my account even though the judge had not made any ruling on the fees, I went crazy and gave mr Fox a lot of abuse, He told me I would have to pay the court fees, when I asked for the legislation that says this he backed down and removed the court fees from my account. The judge ruled that I did not have to pay the court fees. So Marc Fox would like to claim they do everything by the book, this is more lies, this was another illegal MOVE. Tenants avoid these guys like the plague, landlords will probably love these guys, they will love the landlords as they only care about making money and charging fees. Scamming and ripping off poor tenants is a daily process for these people. Regards Robert</p>

awful service. Firstly during rental, any issues took too long to resolve, and you had to do all the chasing until it got resolved. Then when at the end of the lease, we had it fully cleaned, sofas laundered, carpets steam cleaned and full tidiedup, even laundered all sheets and left new clean towels and bronze lamp. Exirt report stated poor effort to leave in clean condition, a dead fly in window and lots of other nonsense and refused to fully refund the security depost - which was probably the point of the exercise, and retained a large amount to "clean". So poor and lazy service, doubtful ethics and pedantic nitpicking approach.

Arranged a second viewing, they call me an hour before the arranged time to put the viewing at a later time in the day. To stay flexible I agreed. I was running late so called them but they was not prepared to wait 10 mins for me after me rearranging my day to fit round them. To top it off the female I spoke to one the phone had a tone that couldn’t care less.
First but certainly last time I will be using this agency. Very bad communications and work ethic. They couldn’t care less.

We were assigned an agent as standard but this changed constantly, we never knew who to contact with issues and had no one working with us directly. Had many issues with the property, namely issues with sewage as the property in question was an old cottage with a septic tank. NP denied a septic tank existed at the property for two years, leading to our drains overflowing several times. On speaking to our landlord after leaving the property we learned she had told them about the septic tank several times and they had chosen to do nothing, putting both us as tenants and our landlord at risk of environmental prosecution. On leaving, money will be taken from your deposit with no explanation. £100 to come out and check the property, despite it having been checked privately by the landlord and the check taking approximately 10 minutes. Do not rent through them, either as a tenant or a landlord. Heard many horror stories and have been involved in one ourselves. Absolutely disgusting treatment of us and our landlord.

I am renting from Naylor Powell and they are beyond awful - I would have given them 0 stars but the website had to have at least 1. The agents do not deal with you after you sign everything and pay their fees - any problems with maintenance, etc, must be put to their Property Management Team. The contract you have just signed states that the tenant must notify them "promptly of any disrepair, damage or defect in the Property or of any event which causes damage to the property"... what they neglect to mention is that once you do this you will receive emails and the occasional phone call with slightly condescending undertones trying to tell you that the problem you have just reported to them is not actually a problem. Examples include a door-catch that was 'working perfectly well' despite not going in all the way causing the door to become jammed, that the kitchen tap was actually not leaking (despite it dripping more than a glass of water overnight) and that the rusted dials on the water cylinder could be fixed (the plumber banged it with a hammer for 10 minutes on his second visit to it - only on the third time he actually used sealing gum but still hasn't seemed to work). They rarely return your phone calls and from 6pm you are no longer their concern - or their out-of-hours contractor's concern for that matter (apparently water leaking from the bathroom ceiling light is not an emergency). If you call someone else out for a problem - or even if you don't and their contractor says it wasn't an emergency - only then will Naylor Powell be in contact promptly for you to pay the call-out charge. They lack humanity, compassion and empathy, and - in my experience - are constantly in breach of their own contract.

I was very keen to find a property to rent in Glos Docks, so viewed a property in June 2015 with Naylor Powell. I decided not to take this property as was smaller than I had wanted. The lettings agent offered to inform me of other similar properties that come up as I realise Glos Docks is a highly sought after area and properties get taken up quickly. I didn't hear anything from him since, and I emailed him to chase this up, with no response or reply. I happen to know there have been many properties that have become available since and been let within 48 hours. My sense of this was that as the interest is so high for these properties, he did not bother following this up with me. I have now let a property through a different agent. Poor service Naylor Powell. Has put me off approaching you again in future.
