Fulfords as a letting agency are poor when dealing with problems that they have created whilst completing a checkout process. Any landlords using Fulfords to monitor a property, BEWARE.... you will find your energy supply is moved into Spark energy and when one is trying to leave that energy... Read Full Review

Fulfords as a letting agency are poor when dealing with problems that they have created whilst completing a checkout process. Any landlords using Fulfords to monitor a property, BEWARE.... you will find your energy supply is moved into Spark energy and when one is trying to leave that energy supplier, it is a NIGHTMARE! Read your contract with Fulfords carefully and ensure that you are not FOBBED off as we are finding ourselves repeatedly being sidelines!

Rented from Fulfords for 3 and a bit years and they are an absolute bunch of clowns. They let in a contractor without my knowledge and basically gave him the spare key to the property which is trespassing and they didn't seem to care. Rented from Fulfords for 3 and a bit years and they are an absolute bunch of clowns.
They let in a contractor without my knowledge and basically gave him the spare key to the property which is trespassing and they didn't seem to care.
Any issues with the property they would always seem to never get back to you on so you'd get fed up with chasing and either ignore it, botch it or get a professional in at your own cost.
The landlady never spent any money in the 9 years she rented out the place and wasn't happy it wasn't in a showhome condition when she got it back. Carpets weren't changed between tenancies and we moved in with a huge burn mark in a prominent position in the bedroom and the windows were rotting away so the place was never warm. I kept the place clean and left no damage yet she still wanted to pick faults that were out of my control.
Then there's trying to get your deposit back which you'll undoubtedly fail miserably at. I'm pretty sure they tell the landlord not to respond or agree to anything so your 3 months will lapse and they then take control and give it back to them even though you worked for 2 solid days cleaning the place to a high standard.
Looking for another property was a major pain because I wasn't prepared to be shafted by Countrywide again so that ruled out 3 agents with a large portfolio in my area. Why people put their places up for rent with them is beyond me

This has to be the worst estate agent in paignton. The valuation conducted by Nicky was way to high even though I said it to her at the time but insisted it was correct. I rang the office to say potential buyers were driving by one saying I wouldn't pay that. We reduced the price and a month later started to get a couple of viewing but had to ring up to get feed back. We sold on the second viewing but unfortunately it fell through no fault of fulfords but we had to be told by a third-party the estate agent who we made an offer through. When I rang nickey they had no idea. From then we only had one viewing again no feed back we had to ring up. When we did have a viewing they had got so used to going to the house opposite our house and walked on by to go there I had to say thought we had a viewing Nicky apologised. Due to the high valuation they have ruined any chance of selling our property I'm utterly discuded with them and never ever recommend them. Be aware.

I paid a �2300 deposit naively believing that I would get it back as long as the property was in a good state. They had no intention of returning any money and went to great lengths to create a check out report and estimated cost of work needing doing based on complete lies. Aiden Shears is an arrogant, nasty individual blatantly disrespectful, disturbingly bigoted and capable of dishonesty on every level. He is not to be trusted at all! We paid �1150 a month rent for a property that had a lot of problems caused by a cowboy landlord who had no regard for health and safety. The boiler fitted by the landlord himself constantly broke down, the boiler engineer had to disconnect the thermostat/room control in the house because it was dangerous, it was part of the old boiler system. We spent 9 months without a fully functional boiler that continued to break down because the landlord refused to pay to have the necessary parts fitted. Fulfords may well have a good reputation when working for a landlord - they will go to any length to extract the maximum amount of money from a tenant and if they break a few health and safety laws along the way it is not a problem.

This agency is absolutely horrific. Avoid at all costs. They do not inspect theor properties properly. I moved into a disgusting state, no electricity. When moving out I took down my wardrobes which were destroyed by the damp in the bathroom. My clothes, shoes, wardrobes, photos etc were ruined I lost hundreds of pounds, despite reporting the problem nothing was done. I am now being blamed for "lack of ventilation" although properties are supposed to have sufficient ventiliaiin and I ask, how do you ventilate behind a wardrobe, open the window? In winter? With a child? The bathroom was rotten! They are now holding my deposit as they feel they need to repair the flat, despite me reporting it numerous times. It is vile, I am taking this company to court as I have stacks of photographic evidence and emails.
