Dacres in Knaresborough sold our house in the summer/autumn of 2018. They came round first to value the house in the previous summer. They were happy to prepare a brochure at no cost to us and keep it on hold until we had found a house and were ready to put ours on the market which in the end was a year later. Once we were on the market they produced four viewings within the first week and one of those became our buyer very swiftly. Once the sale was agreed, Dacres were very good at keeping us informed and also very good at putting pressure on the buyers and their solicitors to get the legal work moving forward. Overall it was a good experience.

We have been delighted with level of service provided by Joe, Nick and Gail. They were all extremely professional, efficient and very competent.
Nick's level of knowledge and expertise in advertising our house was fantastic and we were delighted with the quality of the house sale brochure he produced. We felt his use of a professional photographer was very beneficial in the property's quick sale.
Joe predominantly handled the sale negotiations and we really valued his sound advice throughout. We found him to be exceptional in his role, nothing was too much trouble and he was always so prompt in his response and so lovely in his manner.
We really felt they took a lot of the stress out of the house sale so thank you very much to Joe, Nick and Gail.

The team in Knaresborough have been extremely good to work with. We had a complex sale situation that had faltered at a previous attempt. This was now combined with poorly family members and long chain that became quite complex to resolve. The Knaresborough office were great communicators and kept us in the picture. The offered clear and coherent advice. It's the longest sale process I've been involved in and it was stressful and frustrating, but the team kept cool heads and guided us all (inc others in the chain) through the process to successful outcome. They really couldn't have done any more. So a massive thank to you all of you. esp Nick, Joe and Gail.

Very happy with the service provided. I dealt mainly with Nick, Gail and Joe and found all of them to be professional, helpful, well informed and friendly at all times. I felt Nick knew the local market exceptionally well and his experience was very helpful to the process. This was a probate sale, it wasn't completely smooth as the initial buyer pulled out after a few weeks however Gail's efforts ringing round found us another buyer straight away! The team were very good at keeping me informed of what was going on which was great. I would recommend Knaresborough Dacre, Son & Hartley unreservedly.
