There were some issues such as the slow removal of a mattress and the fixing of broken cupboard hinges, and a water leak problem - however much of this was due to the pandemic restricting what was physically possible to do at the time. Broadly our experience was positive.
Upon ending our stay at a property with Chase Evans Property Management, our previous contact at the firm had left unannounced and unbeknownst to us. This made proceedings incredibly difficult and stressful, specifically with the process of returning our deposit, and the end of tenancy inspection report of the property. At this point our opinion of Chase Evans was soured thinking it was unprofessional/disorganized, despite having had a good experience as first-time renters.
Once Mikkel Nielsen took over the reigns (from Head Office, Strata Tower), things became a lot more transparent, & communication a lot easier and frequent; exercising all methods to reach us (email, phone calls to each tenant, leaving voicemails, texts) to ensure the message got through. Notably, he picked up all the queries that had gone unanswered previously and mediated disputes fairly between us tenants, and the landlord. Where relevant he provided timelines to manage expectations for when actions/decisions would be made and finalised - always keeping us in the loop.
Moreover, while it took a few months to fully resolve all/any outstanding issues, Mikkel was invaluable in the process as a clear, reassuring and guiding voice throughout all dealings. Now five months after our stay has ended, we are very happy looking back at our dealings with Chase Evans.

I had a very mixed experience as I dealt with two property managers who provided vastly different levels of service.
My first property manager, Minneaux Schandorf, was very unresponsive, taking weeks or even months to resolve issues in the property with minimal effort at keeping us updated. On average, he took around three weeks to reply to an email.
My second property manager, Max Watson, was far better, responding quickly and politely. He takes his job seriously, and is more in line with what I was expecting.
