Initial experience positive, photos good and marketed quickly..all too get you on books...things turned bad quickly...promise of buyers looking to buy house similar to ours never came to fruition. Only 2 viewings in approx 10 weeks with no feedback whatesoever. Especially after getting house ready... Read Full Review

Initial experience positive, photos good and marketed quickly..all too get you on books...things turned bad quickly...promise of buyers looking to buy house similar to ours never came to fruition. Only 2 viewings in approx 10 weeks with no feedback whatesoever. Especially after getting house ready to view and allowing strangers to wander around. Took me to visit to office to get feedback. No responses to emails. When asked to reduce price on property lag in time to do this...losing valuable marketing time on key days...fri evening saturday...when people may be looking at rightmove. When we cancelled contract property was still being marketed a week later...no responses to emails...took me to go in and get keys. Steer clear.

We really appreciated that Chappell and Matthews listened to our needs and requirements for buying a house.
One aspect which really stands out is how they answered our questions and kept us updated with progress on the purchase. I would recommend to anyone who is buying or selling a house in Thornbury to speak to David Ringer or the team in Chappell and Matthews Thornbury

Chappell and Matthews, Thornbury branch Estate Agent placed a property onto the market which they did not know what they were selling i.e boundary, where the land did not belong to the seller. We spent nearly 9 months in a chain waiting while the Estate Agent was dishonest, on leave or busy.... Read Full Review

Chappell and Matthews started marketing my property after no success in letting through another Bath agent, they were very professional from the start and kept me up to date with market trends and with what viewings they were doing, and the feedback.
