Awful experience, Oakley and Basingstoke branches. Absolutely would avoid using ever again if at all possible. Poor, inaccurate communication, arrogant, allowed damage from viewers but did not take responsibility, lack of accountability, lack of proactivity, right hand didn’t seem to know what left hand was doing. Extremely stressful dealing with them. Couldn’t trust them. Yet suddenly active and insistent when time to pay them.

Awful customer service, couldn’t care less attitude. Woeful experience in all our history of buying and selling. In summary: lack of communication, incredibly arrogant and astonishingly, seem to have forgotten who the client is. Their whole approach is to take on your property and within a week, start applying pressure to reduce your asking price until you have all but given it away! Lack of pro-activity and clearly just rely on footfall and Rightmove. As others have noted, absolute bare minimum done to "earn" your money. You even have to chase for feedback following viewings on your property. Without a shadow of doubt, the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. Avoid like the plague!...

I would not recommend Brockenhurst at all and wish I researched all the feedback before accepting them to sell our property. Total disappointment from day one. We went with them based on a property they had and as soon as we signed they sold it to another person the following day. No feedback on viewings was provided - I had to do a lot of the chasing - The specific requirements on what we wanted as our next property was never met and the properties which we got sent to view added more frustration. I would not recommend at all.

Staff in the Whitchurch branch merely babysit the office and the MD as noted before, lacks professionalism. There are other, more professional agencies out there who will get you results for less pain. Avoid!

Amazing service from day to day of completion.
The commission was very competitive and the service we got was top rate.
Valuation of property was done by someone with lots of local knowledge and the property was valued accordingly.
David offered advice also based on his experience for free on matters outside of the actual sale of our property.
During the sales process, all viewings were conducted with a Brokenhurst member of staff and apppimtments made well ahead of time and backed up with a text message and email.
The agents managed to sell pit property very quickly and for asking price.
Post exchange of contract , the purchaser wanted to visit to measure for curtains and once again a representative from the agent accompanied the visit.
During sales spruces , we got regular updates and the agent kept the chain moving.
A 5 star service and I don't give praise out easily , but in this case well deserved.

What agent could do to change your mind?
To take complaints seriously rather than ignoring letters and emails unless threatened with legal action. To get off their backsides and actually look into complaints properly rather than sit in the office and make a few calls or fire off the odd email or two. To stop being rude, dismissive and patronising. And not to think that anyone who makes a genuine and valid complaint as an idiot. In short, to actually care about the community they are making a great deal of money out of.

This is a warning to anyone who has the misfortune of living next door to a house rented out by Brockenhurst estate agent - MOVE!
I live next door to a property that has been let out since February 2013 and Brockenhurst Estate Agents are the lettings agent.
The first tenants turned out to be terrible neighbours yet despite us making over 40 separate complaints of noise and anti social behaviour, Brockenhursts claimed the tenants had not violated any of their lease agreement and the managing director even told me that we had to put up with it because we 'lived on an estate', (which incidentally we don't).
Brockenhursts also told the tenants who had made noise complaints against them so the tenants then deliberately set out to make our life hell. I was frightened, intimidated and became ill and depressed, yet Brockenhursts still maintained there was nothing wrong and renewed the tenants lease for a second term. If it hadn't been for the police and the council - a huge 'thank you' to the local police for protecting me and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for monitoring the noise - Brockenhursts would never have done anything.
Thankfully after 9 months of noise the bad tenants were finally evicted, but have left behind a large infestation of rats in the garden - and which despite Environmental Health confirming this is this case and asking Brockenhursts to sort out, Brockenhursts are claiming there isn't a problem! We have photographs of the rats that Brockenhursts say don't exist and of all the tunnels Brockenhursts say the rats haven't dug and as yet they still refuse to take the matter seriously. And so the fight continues.
I would never recommend this estate agents to anyone. I have found them patronising in the extreme and the managing director to be rude and dismissive. They only respond to emails or letters if they are threatened with legal action, and their lack of care have made our lives a misery.
