I have used this agency for more than five years. The staff are professional and competent and have provided an excellent service. I have used this agency for more than five years. The staff are professional and competent and have provided an excellent service. Better communication, don\'t lie to a potential tenant or withhold facts.

They were appaling right from the start. They took my non-refunable £250 holding deposit without telling me the shower didn't work and was unfixable because it was a pressure issue. They also 'forgot' to mention until after I had paid that the previous tenant passed away in the bathroom. I got a phone call after they had my money and they said 'I assume that isn't a problem'. Well yes actually, it was. I think they purposefully circumvented the issued becuase I would not have taken the flat had I known.
I called and emailed several times before I moved in to request details of how to pay the remaning deposit and I got no answer. About an hour before I was due to get the keys (half way up the M3 on my move from dorset to London) I get a call saying I can't have the keys until I've paid the deposit! Thank goodness for mobile banking. When I got to the office the paperwork wasn't ready and the woman couldn't even find a pen. She couldn't get in touch with anyone to check the deposit funds had been recieved. After a few calls I offered to go to the bank to get a print out from my account & she declined. After another hours of unsucessful calls and faffing she asked me to go to the bank. Meanwhile, all my stuff is waiting in a van outside the flat with the delivery men, who I was paying.
When we got there I still couldn't move in as they had waited until the last minute to tell the inventory check in people I was moving in, so I had to wait for them to do that.
I could go on (and on and on) but I think I've made my point.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Virtually any other agent - ie one that doesn\'t lie (people accept \"cock ups\" not brazen lies.
Having made an appointment to view this property today (02/09/13) at 4.30pm I was fashionably 10 minutes early and the Estate Agent didn't turn up. I waited 10 minutes and rang their office. A few minutes later no-one had returned my call so I concluded no-one was coming and left the venue. A couple of minutes later I was told that on a quiet Monday during August the Agent was "stuck in traffic" in Orpington of all places. However if I returned to the property the vendor would be outside and would show me round. Indeed I returned and could see no-one there. I went home - about 4 minutes in the traffic. At 5pm I got a phone call from a "lady" from Andrews demanding to know why I hadn't gone back. I explained that I had and no-one was there. I told her the whole thing had been a complete debacle and I wished to be taken off their mailing list. She then SHOUTED down the phone to me that I wasn't to worry she had personally taken me off the mailing list herself.......Oh dear what a way to treat a buyer and to top it all this is the same company who when I attended the Branch 3 hours earlier to find details of another property they denied having it on their books and I had to show them my phone with the details !!!!

Think I got the same "lady"! In a hurry as on a parking meter . Totally ignored by all the staff who looked like they were in the middle of a tea break and then all went on the phone....
