I have been using Key Properties for just over a year and i can barely contain my anger as i review them! Over the period of a year i rented a great apartment in a great location, but when any problems with the apartment arose it was always a constant battle with "Key Properties" to get someone to sort it out. Every problem took weeks of me calling them to chase it up. They have the worst customer service policy ever, to be honest they don't have one. The staff are incompetent at their jobs as they seem to think its o.k to treat tenants like crap. I finally found a apartment in the same buildings, but with a private landlord who I deal with directly. Upon moving out of my old apartment I notified "Key Properties" of the date I will be out. They had plenty of time to sort out my deposit and the extra rent which was taken from my account. It has taken them 5 weeks to give me my deposit back and a additional 2 weeks before i got a cheque for the extra rent to took from me. When I say got, I had to go and sit in their office and wait for them to write me a check while I watched them. Weeks of calling and chasing them for the cheques just fell on death ears and incompetent staff who are no better than YTS trainees. All I can say is that I have had enough crap from them and I'm still in a constant battle with them over bill disbutes. It is going to come to the point where I will have to consider legal action, as this type of service is not professional or acceptable. I'm a very laid back person, but this is the first time I have felt this strongly about something which really pisses me off. As a paying customer you expect a better service. Its amazing how they keep expanding and opening up new offices. I don't know if other people have had bad experiences with them, but I will never use them again and I have emailed several review sites, publication and the press of the problems I have had with them.

Absolutely appalling customer service. As you would expect the salesman was excellent when we viewed one of their flats that was up for rent, with promises of new furnature and the carpets deep cleaned. Unfortunately when it came to providing the rent (had to pay over 1000 pounds just to move ... Read Full Review
