I let my house through Octagon agents. However, even after the vacating the flat since the last two months they have not returned my deposit. They also made me pay in full my last months rent when I had vacated the flat mid month. So given that I'm now having to take the legal route to get my money back I am thoroughly disappointed! That's after living in the property for 2 & a half years. The land lord says he does not know what is happening & the guys at Octagon have no answer/ time frame/ information! Surely be very careful with these guys!

My family and I have honestly had the worst service with this Estate Agent. We found their Rent advert on Zoopla and contacted them for viewing. The worst letting agent I've come across. Properties not managed at all, but I guess are happy to take money from the landlords to do so. An awful, awful agency. The worst stereotype of money grabbing lettings agents trying to get any quick fee from their tenants. Terrible service from start to finish of the tenancy. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
