An awful, awful agency. The worst stereotype of money grabbing lettings agents trying to get any quick fee from their tenants. Terrible service from start to finish of the tenancy. They pushed a service on us that we didn't want to use that would switch all our bills and council tax payments with one data entry - which didn't work, meaning we missed three months of council tax and ended up with us being in trouble with the council. The property management department are absolute con artists, making up fee after fee after fee to get any money they can form tenants. On check out they recommended a cleaning service, AnyClean, who were absolutely awful. They told us we would get a discount for booking with them - we didn't! They tried to charge us for an improper clean - but it's their recommended cleaners! I can't keep this review going, as it's making me too angry to think about. Avoid at all costs!!
Terrible! Looking to take any fees whatsoever for the most minor of imagined slights.

I let my house through Octagon agents. However, even after the vacating the flat since the last two months they have not returned my deposit. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
