We were a tenant of Lex Allan for 2 years. During that time I had no issues with them at all - they were very quick to do inspections (every 6 months) and generally quick to reply. Most of the problems in the flat were dealt with the landlord and Lex Allan were a go-between. Until we came to move out. Extremely unresponsive to telephone calls - I was continually told that they would leave a message for the appropriate person and they would get back to me - but this did not happen. No response whatsoever. The end of the tenancy was very poorly handled generally and when I emailed to complain - a sudden response! "Oh, really, were there telephone calls? Can you detail these please?". When I emailed to detail them - surprise surprise, no response, even after I forwarded my email a second time. They're extremely quick to do anything in their interest while you're still a tenant - but beware about the end of your tenancy.

We let our house with Lex Allan for 2 years when we had to move area in 2013 and were finding difficulty selling. I would recommend them to anyone who looking for an attentive and thorough letting agent. They quickly found tenants who looked after our property and left it in a very good state.... Absolutely disgusting I will never let from them again they make up the rules as they go along and are pushy ... They want to come for my 6 month inspection which they have now said is 3 month inspection and I advised I'm on holiday for two weeks! They expect you to get someone to sit in your home...
