Saxton Mee are an incredibly awful agent! NEVER USE THEM!!! EVER!!! My partner and I have rented from them for the first time and have received an unprofessional, rude and frankly lazy service! When signing for the property in the beginning they appeared to be professional. Despite a few patronising and rude remarks they did provide us with all the information we required. DO NOT BE FOOLED! As soon as we had moved in they have become a tenants nightmare! We have had on going problems for 8 months now including broken extractor fans in the bathroom, broken washing machine and dryer, lights falling out the ceiling and excessive mold (to the point furniture had to be thrown out). Due to all of these problems we have frequently phoned, emailed, and visited the branch. Every time they say it is nothing to do with them and up to the landlord - they wont give us the landlords contact, they are our agents and our only point of call, yet they still insist on doing nothing. When they eventually do appear to be doing something about it and tell us someone is coming over to repair the problems, we will only end up hearing nothing again until we call. The responses are cold, rude and unhelpful. All they want is there share of the money and once you have signed you are not their problem anymore. We are now having to take serious legal action to get simple maintenance problems repaired that could have been attended to when they was first informed....months ago. We can not stress enough, DO NOT USE!
What agent could do to change your mind?
- Actually fix maintenance problems - Stick to the agreed contract - BE PROFESSIONAL! - manners cost nothing - we are paying customers - we don\'t appreciate rude and patronising service - hire staff who are willing to provide a professional service and are not lazy.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be more open, honest and professional. Call people back when you say you will - even when you complain. Very very poor.

I am absolutely disgusted as to the way my nearly 60 year old mother was treated today in the Hillsborough (sheffield) branch of Saxton Mee.
