TERSONS EASTE AGENTS AVIOD My experience with Simon Crowley from the past is that he is a conman. He stated to me that one had to pay fees for one of his places, when in fact this was not the case, £100 I believe. I gave him several months rent in advance on the day I was to move in. I could not move in as he stated to me that there was gas leaks in the boiler. I decided not to take the flat and he went to the bank to give me my money back, but stated I had to pay £100 for the trouble. On waiting for him at his office in Castle Rd, Dover, His staff stated this was false. I stated to him, when he came back from the bank that his staff said to me that this claim for £100 is false. He had no choice but to agree. I have heard other bad experiences by other people whom have had dealings with him. I Advise you that you do not makes complaints about him or his office as he will makes threats. He will not recommend you despite being one of the best tenants in the area. My leaseholder states I am one of her very best tenants. So I came to the conclusion that Crowley does not respect you as a Tenant, The best, Good or bad. He even has an attitude that if one does complain then one will NOT obtain a flat from him and then the threats. I thus told him to stick the flat up his arse. I also had issues with him about Fire and safety in the flat. We all know that an inspection of the flat is every year but I have had only one visit in 4 years and even then the Inspector said the flat was not safe and then I never heard about the issue again and left the flat un safe. I have asked about the situation to which Tersons arranged the inspector appointment, but Crowley has disappeared. So I write this leaflets hoping that you will ignore this Estate Agent.. Tersons and find one that respects you and acts in a proper manner. I also write this because if I do not then others may have the same problems. I also must add that I am partially blind but nothing gives me more pleasure to expose this man so as to help others. So be warned. Tersons Estate Agents and there own law and that is to abuse you, but want your money.

They patched up a property i was renting at Victoria residence on Russell Street in dover and then helped sell it. He loves the prestige of being the manager. So his fees are quite good. Trouble is, he has control of our accounts and they're not audited.

I rent a lovely little house from Tersons but it has issues. Some serious/dangerous. I've contacted them on multiple occasions and have been told each time that someone will be out to sort them. DO NOT use this estate agent. They have ignored all of our attempts to get in touch with them, all of which have been for important reasons. We both work 9-5 and have no chance to get in and see them in person and they have ignored all emails in the last year. We highligted clear problems with the ... Read Full Review

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
