"" i am mentally disabled and was looking for a flat to let , i found a property in Horley in Surrey and placed down the deposit they asked for , from then on i saw this companies true colors , upon receipt of the accompanying paper work for the let of the flat my close friend who was going to be a guarantor found many faults in there terms and conditions , this included wanting account details to his bank and also supplying card details to give them access to his cash account , surely this is unthinkable , my friend declined being a guarantor and i thought seeing as only days had passed it would be easy to reclaim my deposit of £700 , no i couldn` t , i begged and pleaded to this company as i had saved for the deposit for many years , even my nhs care team rung on my behalf explaining the circumstances that i was disable and maybe they or the landlord could show some compassion , they didnt be careful with this company especially the staff who are really only children in an adults world , give them no money without checking the small print, its hard to think that in this day and age this is possible and people are so heartless unfortunately this company is.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Considered a refund or part refund.

I have had the same experience with QMH, everyone please avoid this agency at all costs. They are not even on the Property Ombudsman's list of agencies that they can investigate, I find this shocking! What agent could do to change your mind?
If QMH operated with any kind of morals or standards, I could be persuaded to forgive. However, they\'re cowboys and couldn\'t give a stuff about their customers - yet they\'re more than happy to take your money from you.
Comments on Agent Fees
Their fees are astronomical! Out of a £1700-1800 deposit, they returned just over £800 - that\'s with no additional deductions during final check-out. Final checks/inventory alone costs in excess of £150 and all Layla did was walk around with a clipboard for less than 5 mins. Jokers.

They should emploee a staff with good knowledge of customer service, positive attitude, more helpful and with good common and human sense. Staff who know the job and work proffecionally.

This is the worst renting experience I have had to date. Late penalty fees are excessive i.e. over 150 pounds despite rent being less than 10 days late. Approach this agent with A LOT of caution. I will not name any names for legal reasons. Be aware also that all fees are not exposed when handing over your holding deposit.
