It looks like almost everyone who've been through them have had a very bad experience. I am an ex-tenant, so glad that I got out of their contract few months ago. Extremely unprofessional people, but basically inhumane. I've understood one of their tactics: advertise low rent price. Attract customers. On the day of contract-signing kill them with exorbitant additional charges knowing they cannot walk out easily. And yes, they do blatantly lie. I have email proofs of them contradicting themselves. Spoke to one of the lawyers working for my company while lunching together: he raised 2 solid proofs among the others that have been obvious breach of contract. There should be some legal way to give them the publicity they deserve or alert the authorities. Real bad girls. (If you are reading this Tiffany/Leila & Co: I do not wish you prosperity)

I have had the same experience with QMH, everyone please avoid this agency at all costs. They are not even on the Property Ombudsman's list of agencies that they can investigate, I find this shocking! What agent could do to change your mind?
If QMH operated with any kind of morals or standards, I could be persuaded to forgive. However, they\'re cowboys and couldn\'t give a stuff about their customers - yet they\'re more than happy to take your money from you.

Their fees are astronomical! Out of a £1700-1800 deposit, they returned just over £800 - that\'s with no additional deductions during final check-out. Final checks/inventory alone costs in excess of £150 and all Layla did was walk around with a clipboard for less than 5 mins. Jokers.

What agent could do to change your mind?
They should emploee a staff with good knowledge of customer service, positive attitude, more helpful and with good common and human sense. Staff who know the job and work proffecionally.

1. go back to school and learn manners 2. get a mcjob to have customer service experience Ok I\'ll be serious: A: inform people about the true costs when they ask you WHAT ARE THE TRUE COSTS! This is the worst renting experience I have had to date. Late penalty fees are excessive i.e. over 150 pounds despite rent being less than 10 days late. Approach this agent with A LOT of caution. I will not name any names for legal reasons. Be aware also that all fees are not exposed when handing over your holding deposit.
