These have to be the most condescending people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Very rude, unhelpful and obstructive. Made my partner feel like she wasn't good enough to live in any of their properties. They seem to look down their noses at everyone who walks through their door. This isn't an isolated case as I know many people who have either tried renting a property or selling a property that have had the same experience. If you are a landlord I would stay well clear as they are very obstructive towards prospective tenants. I was sat in the office waiting while one of them (Jane i think), openly slagged off another tenant to a colleague on the phone. We were left waiting outside a property at the initial viewing and no one turned up, we got an answer message from them the next day saying that they had cancelled the appointment because we were "assisted" ie DSS. This was an untrue ASSUMPTION on the part of the agent as we have a combined main income in excess of £45,000 AND run a part time business. A slight administrative error regarding the search fee on our part during the application process was treated like it was the end of the world, an issue that could have been sorted within an hour. Needless to say we were not prepared to deal with this agent during a long term let so backed out of renting the property.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Rethink your appalling attitude towards your customers, who at the end of the day are paying your wages!
