I was asked to proceed with a forced sale and pay a premium without receiving any proper documentation beforehand. After payment, I repeatedly requested essential information such as proof of rental income (bank statements), AST agreements the existing tenancies, and the opportunity to view the property. Unfortunately, Nathan & Lukas refused to provide these documents and applied pressure to proceed regardless, which I found highly concerning. As a buyer, it is my fundamental right to carry out proper due diligence, including reviewing tenancy agreements, verifying rental income, and physically viewing the property before committing to a transaction. During my research I also noticed that there is no floor plan available on the listing, and the video tour appears to deliberately avoid showing key areas, particularly the rear yard and the nearby traffic junction, which raises further concerns about transparency. Given the lack of documentation, the refusal to arrange a viewing, and the pressure to proceed without proper due diligence, I believe this process has been unfair and misleading.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
