Poor sellers! If you're having trouble selling your place, pay attention! Brief: Urban & Rural Agents were unprofessional and arrogant. Property: 88 Chelsey House, Milton Keynes. I booked a viewing Saturday, April 6th, 2025 at 11:30 AM. They didn't send a confirmation email like they said they would, but I went anyway at 11:15 AM. No one from Urban & Rural showed up by 11:45 AM, so I called them. They said someone was waiting me at the apartment. They didn't even bother to call ahead or give me the apartment number to call at the building on my arrival. Soon after finishing the call, I dialed the apartment number and went up. When I arrived at the apartment, a boy (with zero training as a state agent) opened the door and answered my questions in a very arrogant way. So I asked him, "Do you want to cancel this viewing?" to which he arrogantly replied, "It's up to you." So I left immediately. At that point, I considered that a more experienced state agent might contact me from Urban and Rural on Monday to the process. Indeed, another agent, Henry, with more experience did call, though unfortunately, he maintained the same arrogant demeanor. The agents at Urban and Rural justify the lack of experience and discourtesy with a claim like "the customer was rude", etc. Finally, I cancelled the whole process thru Urban & rural and won't get my property thru them! If you're a property owner selling, please contact me tg.tx@icloud.com, I'm looking a 2 bed flat, top floor ideally around the Hub, I've already got an agreement in principal fat Lloyds, and can move ASAP. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
