I had a snotty call from a girl at Focus around 2 weeks ago asking why we hadn't signed a direct debit they had sent out and that we were currently ringing for support, again, and that they weren't going to help unless we signed the direct debit. So obviously I dug out the email and signed the direct debit, because I presumed my colleagues would be needing Rent to actually work. At the same time I discovered that we had not actually received the annual renewal invoice that we were being asked to set up the dd for. So I went back to Focus and asked for a copy to be sent to me. Still waiting... In unrelated news, the business owners have asked for me to see how much it would cost to use a rival's software, who coincidentally are flashing across my advertising banner on the page here.

I feel the need to add a further bad review for the Focus Rent software. There is still a persistent breakdown in the software being able to print to a printer. Since upgrading to the new cloud version of Focus Rent we persistently find that users cannot log in and work!!! We call "Support" on their million pence per hour 0871 number, easily the biggest single phone call bill on every phone bill of the month, for them to fiddle about and get it working ...
