I rented through this agent and lived in a flat for almost 6 years. On the check out day 2 agents came and collected the keys. They were all jolly lolly! Few days later they sent me email they wouldn’t return a penny from my £830 deposit. I’ve uploaded a photo too! I knew from previous reviews about their morality. I took photos of the property before I checked out. Those helped me evidencing their charges were unjustified, unfair and fraudulent. Deposit Protection Scheme investigated and didn’t allow this letting agency deducting my deposit. I got my deposit back from DPS. Other tenants lost hundreds of pounds in past but I’m fortunate not to be scammed!!! Stay away from this agency!!!

My experience of Property Book UK Limited is that they are a cynical, income-driven outfit lacking in integrity, focused on making a 'quick buck' - a profit - out of their customers regardless of circumstances, morals or ethics. Their fee structure is questionable and as a company they are not signed up, accountable, to any Residential Lettings Association so there is no way of appealing to an independent arbitrator when you are not satisfied with the way you have been treated.
