When that failed, they called his wife an additional three times and she finally relented just to get them to stop calling. Interestingly, they stated in a text “Due to the unclarity of the situation and no communication the tenant has signed the contract. There was no communication with me as I was in bed with covid and phones were off to get rest, BUT they managed 5 calls to the tenant! One of which clearly stated they were not going to sign.“ They also sent me this text “Hi Tony, the tenant has just told us that you have informed him we are no longer taking over and not to sign the contract? Please can you confirm to us what is going on, please? As we are at the point of sign-off. Thanks, Matt” SO as I was not able to confirm as I had switched off my phone to get rest from Covid, they harassed the tenant’s wife until she signed!
