Poor experience with Stopsley office - non pro active., Poor customer service, don't do what they promise , cherry pick their buyers, talk the talk to pull the customer in to do business and can't deliver what they promise. total shambles. Will not be using them ever again, was a big big mistake letting them sell my property.

13 Feb 2023Indigo residental are rubbish, I want to remain anonymous, but all I will say is, they never even came out and valued my house, from when I walked in the Estate agents, I spoke to them about putting my house on the market and 1 of their agents valued it, there and then Without even Coming around to see it. Well under the £10.000 it should have gone for. They were all for the buyer and not on my part the seller, they just wanted a quick sale to get their commission. Felt rushed to Move, let our house go to cheap! Thanks to their mismanagement. Their legal team doesn't even know what they are doing, the whole communication with this company is useless, never return calls when you want them to. A very poorly run company and Amateurish. Do not sell your house with these clowns.

23 Dec 2024Can Estate Agents be Trustworthy, and do they know the market. Or are they only after their fees. I put to you the following, A house being marketed by Indigo Residental Estate agent in Ampthill at £550,000 (51 Elder Way Mk45 2HN.) Please see attached, that a Rics valuation was only recently done and values the property at £510,000 So what are Indigo doing placing such a figure on the property. £40,000 above valuation Is it to bump up there fees? What they don't say about this home. Are as follows. 51 Elder Way Ampthill. Mk45 2HN 1. The home is a Bpha shared ownership property which the sellers only own 40% But they will buy the other 60% to sell on to a buyer. ( To Avoid Stamp Duty) Thus stopping people who can't afford full asking price an opportunity to buy from Bpha, just so they can make a massive profit. As well as taking a shared ownership property off the market. 2. The house is in the middle of a social housing area, with a number of share ownership homes and rented social housing. 3. The Housing association is Bpha, and the buyers solicitor will have to deal with them as at any time could force the present owner to sell back to them there 40% at anytime prior to completion as they don't own 100% Plus this is a leasehold property at present. 4. The buyer mortgage could well be affected as the value is so much lower than the purchase price, therefor you could lose £1000's on fees and solicitors for nothing. Specialist solicitor will need to be appointed at extra cost. 5, The sellers have already lost 2 homes over the past 6 months. (They backed out.) But did not keep anyone informed. 6, The sellers refused a retention fee for one week, giving the intention they they were to leave unwanted items in the home. 7. You may be aware this property backs on the school, so the buyer should be aware of the school bell going off every hour. 8. There is also a farm school to the rear of the property, with chicken, pigs and sheep, as well as the smell which goes with this. (You should note what time chickens wake up, again I will state the smell is not to everyones taste.) 9., This home may look similar to others around but is far smaller as there is no loft room and the rear bedrooms do not extend over the kitchen. As well have reduced height due to the roof. 10. The front has been repainted, for some reason and thus this does not match the rest of the home and in the wet seems that it has not been done properly. ( This is only opinion) 11. There is stamp duty of 5% being £27,500. Payable on purchase. So if this is the home you are looking for, contact Mr Bradley Cooper, (Manager) Indego residential, Ampthill Who will be more that happy to show you round. As well as answer all your questions. So they can collect their fee. Remember they are not working for you, and it seems they don't care. Good luck in your home search All information is better than on information.

8 Jan 2025I can't believe that Indigo have sold 51 Elder way Mk45 2hn at £549,999, when it's only values at £510, 000 I hope the purchaser reads this before they get solicitors involved as they are about to lose £1000s on this ex shared ownership property.

I could not recommend Indigo, and particular Julie Osborn enough. We put our house on the market in March 2021, in the height of the stamp duty house market frenzy. All solicitors and estate agents were extremely busy however with the service we received, you would have never of known it. From... Read Full Review

Do not use this company. Emma did not return phone calls or communicate with us. Indigo's incompetence has cost us over £1000 in aborted sales fees. The seller of the house was unable to get a mortgage and we were not informed. Indigo allowed us to pay for surveys, searches & solicitors even ... Read Full Review
Told the truth and returned our phone calls.
