Moved In to a property without power or hot water. Contacted them and the call was not answered multiple times. When I did get through they said they will call me back, they never did. The next day I got an email basically saying “can you sort it”. I replied “no, it’s your job”. They never replied that day, day 2 without power or hot water. Criminal. The next day they emailed asking if it was sorted, I said “no we are still without power and hot water”, I never heard from them since then. No gas safety certificate. No check in report. Multiple repair issues and absolutely ZERO reply. Even the viewing process was pathetic. Late turning up. Rude staff. Their office is an absolute dump, which should have rung alarm bells. Obviously I have contacted the press. Will be reporting them to ARLA and to the ombudsman.

4 Sept 2021Hi Daniel, I'm sorry that you have not had a smooth move in. I don't understand what has gone wrong as all of our properties have all mains connected and should be a case of just turning a boiler/tank on. As i don't know your full name i'm assuming that you have taken on a MANAGED property and not a LET ONLY property. If a gas safety is required then you would of already had an electronic copy from our referencing platform, which is easy is enough for you to obtain. In terms of ringing the office, yes we are currently experiencing more volume than normal (which estate/ letting agent isn't) and as such its harder to get in contact with someone at the office despite us having more staff cover on for the summer months, I can only assume that this is down to last minute changes with covid restrictions being eased and everybody in a last minute rush to secure property. In terms of viewings, yes sometimes viewings run over due to several factors such as viewers running late from previous appointments, traffic etc, it only takes one appointment being late which will have a knock on affect for the rest of the day so we do try to accommodate as much as possible. Finally, you mention my office, yes i agree its small and looks a little dis-organised at present with files on all desks and again this is purely down to the high volume of enquires/work etc, however this is no reflection on how the company operates and im sure many business owners would agree that they would rather meet the demand than worry about excess files on desks! When you collected your keys & tenancy pack, if you had checked all the items in your pack you would of had a general maintenance booklet that would of given you details of how to tackle simple things and if you still had issue to register your request onto our website and our dedicated property management team would of been liaising with you. I'm guessing you must of not checked your pack and decided that the easiest thing would do to try to phone us. If you followed our maintenance hand book neither of us would be writing our views today. For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
