wow where do we start! We are currently not only looking for a new home but a commercial retail property as well. Driving by what looked like the perfect unit in Hawarden, we noticed a note on the door saying (call for enquiries) Last Sunday we did call and spoke to Jonathan. He confirmed the unit was going to be available and that it was £900pcm, if we send over our business info on email he would call Monday. We had nothing!!!! I called twice and left a message with two of his staff members for a call back, Still nothing!!! I left a further two more emails with no reply at all.!!! My partner then called and spoke to Jonathan, Jonathan made it clear he was busy but he would forward over pictures and floor plans. Nothing received. I then called he told me that he was busy in the middle of something???? I am a new potential client for a residential purchase (cash buyers) with the money in the bank. and a commercial property (rental) he was vey rude, did not really say much other than he will be in touch. After a couple of days now Friday and another email stating how I was upset, as he had actually made me feel like a nuisance and telling a new client they are busy every time you call is so unprofessional.This was all for just for contacting him . Not once has he called or emailed back. when I stated how interested we were and that we are also wanting support in finding our dream house. He told me to call another number. He had no interest at all. My partner has just called again to confirm about the pictures and floor plan. Jonathan said he would have to go back and listen to the original call???? Not sure why? That they are not sure what they are doing with the retail unit? That it wasn't available? And that the number on the front was in case someone drove into the front of the retail unit? we have just wasted a week to be lied to. When my partner said I am really confused, and said you lied then Jonathan said BYE and slammed the phone down. I would understand writing a review about a new team member, but I am complaining about The owner of the business. So a week later we are still looking for a house and a retail unit. Thankyou Jonathan for not only upsetting two new potential clients, but wasting our time. Great to see local businesses supporting each other in this current pandemic. Trust pilot and google reviews about Jonathan and his business say it all.

20 Aug 2021Roberto Rineldi and partner I have been nothing but straight with you both from the outset, but it seems you made a number of assumptions which lead to things being somewhat more advanced in your heads than they were in the real world. When your partner called me today I immediately informed him that it wasn’t a convenient time to talk as I was in a meeting. I was actually sat with my family having lunch on a rare day off. That didn’t seem to deter him from continuing the conversation, however, and it was necessary for me to end the call when he began repeatedly calling me a liar. He called my landline which bounced out to my mobile (because I wasn’t at my desk), which begs the question – how exactly do you slam down a mobile? You have both demonstrated precisely the sort of qualities landlords do not want in their tenants and thankfully at a very early stage in proceedings. Quite why you would want to make that fact public and use your full name is beyond me, but good luck in your search for premises. Sincerely Jonathan Reade – Managing Director

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
