Unfortunately for me I am now left with a huge bill to pay because Oak Estates promised me 5 star property management and failed to deliver any of it. Was completely mis-sold on the basis that they would manage my 1-bed flat in Watford, and be responsible in looking after it fully at all times. None of the work that I had instructed was carried out by Oak's contractors, and they failed to find alternative workpeople. No inspections were carried out in 2020 so the tenants were able to let the property fall into utter disrepair, due to a total lack of ventilation while they've been living there. Oak are accepting none of the accountability for failing to look after my flat, even though that's what I was paying them for, have been negligent in their responsibility in getting things done and cannot see how fundamental their actions have been in causing me nothing but trouble & financial loss.

The agent lacks honesty and not transparent with the process. Over promised and under delivered. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
