I'm only giving one star because there is no option for zero. We rented a property from Ashton Burkinshaw a few years ago, it was an extremely unpleasant experience. The property was old and tired, borderline unrentable and not updated for many years. The rent went up at every opportunity and I felt they were always trying to maximise the money they could make from tenant and landlord. The superior and snobbish attitude the staff took with us was distasteful and being rude or dismissive to our phonecalls and concerns was routine. Add to this they actively tried to extort money from us after our tenancy ended and you have the sum of the worst estate agents around, thats not just our view either. Honesty, integrity and decency are in short supply with this firm. My advice would be to avoid in every way possible.
