Positives: Curchods were relatively easy to contact, and the agents did (usually) call back or respond to emails when we left messages. Negatives: A number of things which caused us unnecessary headache. For one, they mistakenly claimed that we'd ceased rental payments and told the landlord that we had not paid for several months, when there was in fact no interruption whatsoever and they were merely looking in the wrong account! That kind of basic administration blunder is quite unforgivable. Second, they use an inventory company which was very inconsistent - recording a number of things differently at check-out compared with check-in (and so claiming, for instance, that we had repainted walls which we had not). Fortunately we took our own comprehensive photos at check-in, and so could demonstrate that the claims were false, but Curchods more or less disclaimed responsibility, leaving us to deal with the awkward inventory company directly.

I found it frankly unbelievable that Curchods were voted a top estate agents in Surrey. The service we received from the East Horsley branch was appalling.
