Do you want to buy a Property in Cardiff? Stay away from Moginie James |Cardiff Estate Agent and Letting Agent!!!! Moginie James | Cardiff Estate Agent and Letting Agent is a horrible estate agent and in my own opinion they are a Cowboy estate agent . If you are thinking of buying a house through them you really have to think twice so you don’t incur huge loses. They don’t have any ethical and moral reputation and they are willing to cause financial loses to buyers if that would allow them make tiny profit margins. I offered £85k for a `£100k flat advertised on Rightmove and on their website .The office staff told me that the seller declined the offer and that the seller was willing to accept any offer with a “9 on it “ I then offered 90k which was accepted and within 2 days I received a letter in the post from Moginie James Cardiff Estate Agent and Letting Agency that the `£90k I offered has been accepted and that I should send them proof of funding, mortgage approval in principle and also subject myself to identify checks through a company called lifetimelegal . They said once those items have been received they would take the advert away from Rightmove. I went through the identity checks and sent then a full-blown mortgage application(a better alternative than what they asked for) and I paid and instructed conveyance. They refused to take the flat offline and after 2days I received an email from Moginie James Cardiff Estate Agent and Letting Agent that the seller has decided to offer it to a cash buyer from a previous viewer, which is a complete LIE. I lost my mortgage application fee and conveyance fee. Moginie James estate agency is the worst estate agency i have ever dealt with. Keep 'em coming...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
