We (4 students) rented with Fab Homes last year. Upon the move out, they began to threaten us with several cleaning and repair charges although several points they raised already existed in our pre-move in inventory (so were not our responsibility to repair) or fell under general wear and tear. They tried to lie to us about our tenant rights (when they had to respond about deposit claims by) until we outright stated them in an email and they backtracked on their word. We disputed their claim of demanding £444 for repairs and cleaning through the deposit scheme we were protected by, and ended up only having to pay £44 as it was deemed their claims were unreasonable. The whole process they were completely rude and hid the truth from us several times. Students - do not get involved with Fab Homes & learn your rights as tenants.

We strive to provide our customers with an excellent service in terms of quality of work, professional behaviour, customer service. I do recall your move out and can admit a lot of things went wrong and lesson has been learnt from this to never allow access back to the tenants who are looking to rectify things as this does not work in any anyone's favour and so we do consider this as part of the learning curve. 19 May 2020The lesson you should have learned is to not use your own staff for the checkout inspection, who are clearly biased and include things that existed in the check in inspection and threaten us with charges for these (marks on walls, dirty garden furniture, scuffed furniture to name a few). Your comment here clearly shows you lack the understanding of the mistakes made - the main issue was not allowing us back into the home, but your handling of the move out from the beginning.

Absolute reasonable!
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
