The reason I give 1 star was purely because I have to in order for this to be posted. I don’t know where to start with this awful company, but twice me and my partner have tried buying a property through them and it’s been nothing but hell. The way they speak to you is disgusting, we placed an offer on the house which got accepted by the owner, everything was being processed they had all of our details etc yet they still didn’t take the house off the market, still open to offers and still were taking names for viewings? Then I received a call to say someone has placed an ‘over the odds’ offer (making out it was double/triple what we offered) only to find out JF had lied to the owner saying me and my partner hadn’t kept in contact with them, knowing FULL WELL everything was being processed. They told us we’d now lost the house due to someone bidding higher and that’s that. To then find out, the person only bid an extra £5000 which we would’ve happily gone higher if need be but they didn’t give us the option. Claire (carmarthen branch) the way she spoke to my partner was disgusting and nothing but discriminating. So unprofessional for how they handled it. I got a family member to ring & ask if they were still taking higher offers which they replied with ‘no sorry, the house has been sold’ !!!! If only they done this whilst our offer had been accepted. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!!!

3 Jul 2020Please don’t try to make yourself look good by saying you “followed your clients instructions”. She accepted our offer, things were being processed, you kept the house on the market & still accepted viewings. Yet someone comes along after us, places an offer and you decide to tell us we can’t have the house anymore!!! Absurd.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
