Was interested in viewing a property in Roe Lane. I have constantly chased Heywoods sales staff for updates either via text,email and phone calls to view.I secured a viewing but was cancelled the day before having been told the owner was having some damp works completed on the property and I’d be notified as soon as it was ready to view .As we liked the location we put an offer in on the property ,I never heard anything back on the offer and whilst still waiting,asked to view another property incase our offer was refused. when eventually contacted about the second property , I asked about the status of my offer on the first property and was told the owner was thinking about doing it up and they ( Heywoods) were there at the property on Monday and Tuesday ,if I wanted to view. If I hadn’t mentioned my offer I wouldn’t have known it was now ready for viewing ,having been promised that as soon as it was available for viewings after the repairs they would contact me which they didn’t.Heywoods promised that they would chase the owner up on Monday regarding my offer. I still heard nothing from Heywoods almost a week from submitting my offer which had neither been accepted or declined .I texted Heywoods saying as I was getting no where to withdraw my offer . The response from Heywoods via text was sorry he doesn’t know whether to sell or not. The property is still being marketed , and I have been told at least 2 possibly 3 viewings occurred on the day or day after I last contacted Heywood’s. Very poor customer service for this property I don’t like leaving negative reviews but feel for some reason Heywoods weren’t interested in attempting to sell this property to me or at least notify me of the status of my offer ,we were totally left in limbo and I was being told conflicting things. Sales side not very impressive but have previously had experience with Lettings team who were excellent .
