We rented a 4 bed property in Eastbourne, when we moved in the kitchen was disgusting and paintwork was worn and tired. We complained and got some money for cleaning ourselves. Throughout the rental there was a complete lack of communication especially from the manager. We have now rented another property a few doors down just to get away from them. We have just received our checkout report from Leaders and from what we can see we are getting charged £588 for cleaning a few small areas of dust!!!! We wanted to prove a point when we left and had the carpets professionally cleaned and had cleaners in to do the kitchen, bathrooms and living areas. We hovered the bedrooms!!!! Avoid at all costs, we are now renting through another company in the same block and they have been perfect so far.

Could be lower. We have another property which is fully managed at a lower fee. We dont get charged for renewal of lease of tenants
