We had no choice but to accept Goadsby as service providers for our apartment building. We moved in 2016 and every year we paid a service charge and ground rent in spite of the fact that Goadsby were never seen to provide service. Outside there's a huge amount of rubbish, we clean the communal areas ourselves and the greenery provided is only for the Tesco downstairs. Every year, the service rate was similar, but this year, it increased by over £100. Plus we have this Buildings & terrorism insurance , which began last year, making an increase of about £200 since we bought the flat. My opinion of Goadsby was not very good. In June 2018, I was diagnosed with a genetic complaint which stopped me from working. No job, no income, but Goadsby wanted more and more. I asked if I could pay the service charge in instalments and, although they did not give official consent from the landlords, they are allowing this. For which I feel gratitude.
