Absolutely appalling service and completely unprofessional. We could not have had a worse experience from start to finish. Apathetic, rude and condescending. Refused to answer basis questions and overtly attempted to disregard their legal duties to put forward sensible offers for us. When asking genuine, practical questions, such as ‘would it be possible to take out a twelve-month tenancy agreement with a six month break clause’ we were told that we were being difficult and messing them around. We would leave numerous messages for them on the telephone and via email which they refused to respond to. On two occasions when I did get through to speak to someone, they hung up on me whilst I was speaking. Margaret, the manager, is abrasive and mocked me when I spoke to her. She was patronising and quite frankly vile. If I could formally report this agency to a professional body for disgusting customer service I would, however, perhaps unsurprisingly, they are not a member of one.

Really rude customer service. pre-lease and post-lease processes are completely over the top and designed to with hold your deposit for as long as possible. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
