Terrible service, unreliable and non trustworthy LIARS. Applied for a home in Ingleby Barwick, called up after 5 days and spoke to a girl on the phone who confirmed that all the checks had gone through fine and the property was ready for contracts to be signed. I checked this multiple times with her and she confirmed that yes there were no problems and I just needed to come and sign the contract, arranged this for Friday 9th August 2019. Arrived at the property at 12pm as agreed, no one was there, they apparently tried to call me earlier that day to let me know that they couldn't do it because they were waiting for a Gas certificate to come back, fair enough, so I re arranged for Monday 19th August 2019. I then called on Monday 12th August to check something and I was told that my application had been to passed on to someone else, who then said they needed more checks. I spoke to a 'manager' who was very obnoxious and didn't want to listen and LIED to me on the phone, he said they didn't accept DSS on the property and that they hadnt advertised it as this, even though I have a screenshot of the ad, he said he would check this... when I went back on the ad low and behold the DSS part had dissapeared (thank God for screen shots). He also said that I was not told that the property was ready for the contract to be signed and that that was never said, well why did i arrange an appointment to go sign the contract AT the property then? Which THEY cancelled because of a Gas problem. Anyway in the end they said that I couldn't have the property due to affordability... here's some advice, instead of lying to your CUSTOMERS to get out of a situation that one of your employees has put you in by mistake, just tell the truth and let them know... instead of waiting until someone litrally is days away from moving. I was told by a girl that the property was mine and they wanted me to move in as soon as possible, I don't know how many times this was discussed on the phone as I thoroughly checked. I just wish now I would of recorded the call. BUT I should of read the reviews because it seems everyone else seems to say the same thing. Obviously their staff isn't trained enough but I'm not surprised as the managers a twat.

The agency was not helpful at all. Firstly, when I moved in during 2016, the apartment was dirty! The washing machine was filthy, the fridge was disgusting. I had to clean the apartment myself.
