If you are a landlord who has no conscience then Adams may be good for you. On the other hand if you are looking to rent a property do not touch them with a barge pole. My son and 4 other students at Bournemouth University rented a house through Adams. As the summer passed it became apparent that the building had a terrible damp and mould problem, Adams were reluctant to act, so they brought dehumidifiers which collected litres of water. soon the mould was getting on to their clothes, even when they were inside bags. My Son suffers from CFS and this was making his illness worse. Another tenant had asthma and he was suffering, even painting his room in anti mould paint. After many phone calls and emails Adams still refused to take any action and tried to blame the tenants saying they must be drying washing in the house, not airing the rooms properly or not having the heating on enough. The mould on the walls was visible and spread fast. Adams did nothing to help and when it came to getting their deposit back, tried to claim unfair damage payments, one for a piece of furniture that was never in the property.
