This branch handled our rental and one of the agents, Harj, took it upon himself to take all the extra keys out of the property after a viewing. He said it would be safer in case cleaners or contractors came in. It now transpires that he never logged the keys and has been dismissed from the company. No-one bothered to notify us and I had been emailing him as his account was still active.. The branch don't know where the keys are and the tenants have moved in knowing that the keys are out there somewhere, together with the parking access fob, as well as keys to our garage where we stored personal belongings. I contacted the branch to speak to someone, and Vivienne has been brought in to cover, and said the matter was being looked at by her director but she couldn't give me a timescale as to when it would be resolved. She kept saying she didn't know anything about it as didn't work at the branch previously; whilst I fully appreciate that she is a representative of the company. I am now looking at legal action against Chancellors to try and get this remedied and some security for both the tenants and us.
