AVOID!!! AVOID!! AVOID!!! This agency fraud us. We found an apartment in Notting Hill, transferred the deposit and the first month of rent. Two days before the moving in date the agent Sam called us and told us that the old tenant does not want to move out and he or she renewed their contract. And on top of that, they did not want to take any responsibility for their mistake. We told them on the same day we want our money back but this took them over three weeks to transfer this back. So we arrived in London without an accommodation and had to find another apartment and had to pay for the hotel and etc. We also could not even make a new offer for a new apartment because Benham and Reeves still had ours. They even lost one of the transfers and just realized after I told them. And it gets worst.... they transferred us less money than the amount we were supposed to transfer. Because they did not pay the bank fees and let us pay them again. How ridiculous. We are taking legal actions and hoping to get compensation at least. Was just a horrible experience and costs us our last nerves.

Be aware with this Agency, they only cares for get the deposit and they did not care about the issues with the flat. Benham and Reeves Lettings offered a really first rate service for marketing my property – within 2 hours of instructing them it was on their website, rightmove and zoopla.
