Avoid this agency if you really want to sell your house!. Myself and my husband offered full asking price for a house with Waterman House which was accepted. From the start it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with Ellie who was managing this sale process on the phone, often she never returned our calls at all. We were really keen to buy this property but after nearly 3 months of waiting for the seller to find a property and our calls and emails being ignored feeling completely left in the dark we starting looking around and found somewhere else instantly, under budget twice the size and in a nicer area and the new estate agent was brilliant. We were so close to waiting another 3 months for the seller but as the estate agent was impossible to deal with (our solicitor mirrored this feedback) we decided enough stress and to move on. 6 months later the seller of the house we nearly brought with Waterman House reduced their asking price but still had no offers so has moved to a new estate agent and still not sold. Moral of the story, if you are an estate agent and you have a great cash buyer, willing to wait for your seller to find somewhere offering full asking price in a difficult treat the buyer with some basic respect and return some of their emails and calls rather than just completely ignoring them. Sounds crazy that this actually happened and I have noticed online similar feedback online mirrors our experience with Ellie at Waterman House

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
