Advise to stay away from Fry and Kent at all costs, especially if students. Just like every other letting agent in the area they are here to make as much money off of you as possible with abhorrent service. The staff are all smiles and help until the moment you have paid your hefty deposit at which point the seem cease to exist and or care. work left undone for weeks despite contact including a leaking roof which created vast amount of mould, incompetent staff and inventory checkers which attempt to take every penny of your deposit at any cost; Which in our case included trying to charge us for missing wall fixtures that were still firmly attached to the door because staff and landlord could not be bothered to look behind the door where the fixture is placed. Will charge you extortionate cleaning fees for a completely substandard job in which carpet cleaning is charged as extra, to move into a property with filthy stained carpets. Staff members* are hasty to reply asking for money but slow to reply when you have disputed them, after a series of emails replies stop because they have realised they are wrong and will not be able to con their tenants out of their excess of £3000 deposit. Charging ridiculous admin fees simply to be able to start the process of becoming renters, if you are a guarantor be prepared to give away every single bit of personal information you have about your earnings, jobs, capitol etc, I was surprised they didn't ask for blood types too. Overall terrible service designed to make as much profit as possible I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
