Almost 2 weeks back I called to view a property that came onto the market that day. The branch would not let me view the property until 17th March, the open day. I made it clear I was ready to buy and would like to view it earlier, but was told that was simply not possible. The day before the viewing I get the call telling me the viewing is cancelled as it's now sold to someone who had viewed it! I made it pretty clear I was not happy about this and would like to view and put in an offer. The guy made efforts to tell me they had lots of other properties in the area, untrue, and would put me at the top of their list, is that what happened with the buyer? I said I would have offered blind if I thought this was going to happen, but was told they wouldn't accept an offer without a viewing. Catch 22! The house was going to be my sons first and he had his heart set on it. Peter Alan have gone down massively in my estimation. I feel cheated and can't trust them.
