Watch out. My parents had paid a majority of their mortgage paid off; remaining roughly a 100,000 left our house is valued close to a milllion. Since they are quite old and not very good with technology and living abroad they missed a couple of payments. A man called Simon Lancer who works in Melvin Jacob had been introduced to them to help communicate with the mortgage company. He took further payments from my parents roughly about 20k over 3-4 months but never made them to the mortgage company. The mortgage company never received these payments and proceeded to default us on our payment and take us to court for not making payments. He pretended he had travelled whilst he remained in his office I called him numerous times whilst he said he was away only to see him through his window there. We had to threaten to take him to court before he found where the "payments" had gone. In short we had to raise over 100k in just under a months to prevent our home being seized. It would (allegedly) seem like his plan was to prevent my parent from making payments so the mortgage company seize the property and auction it off for a lower price than its value (since most mortgage companies only care if they get what is owed to them)and he would buy it for a lower price and resell the property for a massive profit. Watch out. Read other reviews on other sites as well since this is not the first time people have experienced this kind of dodgy behaviour from this agency. I would recommend you go anywhere else. I would give them a negative star rating if it was possible

15 Mar 2019The above was totally libellous and a pack of lies. We're it not for me the couple would have lost there home. What the Son who wrote this post does not tell you is the parents we're about to be repossessed once ( I stopped this ) and then agreed instalments with me to pay and once again defaulted in those. If it was not for me these people would have lost their home. The sons comments are ridiculous and stupid. How was I going to buy the house ? I was not instructed to sell it. The son really has no clue and perhaps should have helped his parents the way I did it would make him a better person than clearly he is by blaming me. Total fabrication and provable by me any time. Shame

Never trust this company! They are not afraid to break the law on behalf of the landlord and LOCK THE TENANT OUT, even though the tenant never once failed to pay the rent or look after the property. They will use physical violence ... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
