Field Palmer has to be the worst estate agent I've ever heard about to experienced (and working in retail meting people on a daily basis, I've heard a lot of stories!) From moving in I already had an issue with the rude staff who seemed incompetent at their jobs. When my partner disappeared being caught cheating I explained my situation to the branch manager who had not one helpful thing to say. Not once did I get a thoughtful conversation out of anybody! They made no effort to help sort anything out so not wanting to be homeless I reluctantly payed all of the rent despite begging them to try and contact my partner who also was liable for the property. 8 months of paying all of the rent and fighting finances and personal issues they were disgusting women who didn't give a second thought towards me. Now over a year and a half later - when applying for a new property they cause an absolute ton of bull again. Not explaining the situation and being understanding, they just state I didn't pay rent on time..... yes that one time, what a completely unreasonable situation... for you. (I still payed in full every single month) they also stated they were 'unsure they'd rent to me again, well don't worry Field Palmer, I will NEVER want to rent through such a disaster of an estate agents. And believe me when I say there'll be a decrease in your sales, as it's now a personal mission to tell everybody I know how terrible your service is, and as my new job throws me higher and higher into the media i'll Be sure to write publicly how disgraceful all your staff are. Nobody should be treated the way I was, and I hope nobody ever does. To sum it up, don't rent through Field Palmer - it's a lot more hassle than it's worth
