Hi all yes well were do i start we bought our property from f/h in feb 2011 we were down sizing ,well we found a house on there books it had been empty for about 12 months so when we viewed it it was quite messing no problem we looked past that i was prepared to do some work not a problem ,we are 14 months on and it is problem after problem firstly we have discovered that when we bought the house we should have received a pack containing certain things 1 being an electric test certif supprise supprise nothing we have gone on to have all the lower floor stripped back to the brick re rendered an plastered dew to damp,to now be told that all the wireing in the house is of the wrong size just great ,told we wood have seen this if a , also test had been done, also when we moved in the garage was still full of the owners things so had to empty before we could use on the move in day , also to discover in the winter that when it rains the garage is under 6inch of water great to find when all your boxes of things in there because of all the work in the house and now to top every thing of we are stuck with a garden next door full of aivery birds that go on scworking all day from morning till night and if we want to do some thing we will have to take them to court to sort it so now we know why you only get 20 minutes to view the house and not the garden living hell i will never buy or sell from them ever again and will encourage others to stay well away we are now left with this mess to sort out , chris

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
